Feng Shui isn't just about a beautiful environment, it's asking, how does my environment support me?
Does my environment inspire me? Does my space support who I am? Or, who I want to be?
Your space can energize you, or drain you. Our homes are a reflection of our selves. Take time to walk through your home, or simply sit in a room and look around. Do you like what you see? Does the space reflect your intentions, your aspirations, your goals? Or, are you surrounded by things that are a version of your past self?
During the holidays, when we tend to bring in more stuff, it's a perfect time to clear out all of those items that no longer support us. Let them go.
To appreciate and love your home does not have to cost you anything. A well cared for and loved home is all that is necessary. If something is broken, fix it or replace it. If something is faded or torn, mend it, cover it. Bottom line, take care of it. Taking care of our home is taking care of our self.
Appreciate the simple things, take time to reflect, and your internal self will benefit.
