enhance life with feng shui

At times, life will seem hectic and crazy.  Things come up, problems occur - basically, life happens.  It is at times like these that we look for anything to give us a sense of control over our lives.​

While we cannot control the uncontrollable, we can control how we adapt to what life throws our way.

Tips to feel "in control":

1. Clear the clutter.  Clear out a drawer, a closet, a cabinet.  It's always amazing how the absence of clutter, and a well-organized space reflects on the inner self.  
2. Move things around / rearrange.  In Feng Shui, 9 is considered an auspicious number.  Try moving 9 small or large things around.  Or, go larger, try 27 (still divisible by 9).  Moving things around or rearranging a space stirs up the stagnant chi.
3. Find nature.  Spending time outdoors can refresh your soul.  Bring the indoors in with houseplants.  If you have a view, don't obstruct it.

​Feng Shui helps us understand the correlation between the outer world to the inner world.  A cluttered / stressed outer world often reflects a cluttered / stressed inner world.  There will always be stresses that occur, but our space can help us to adapt to these stresses and prosper.
